Welcome from Peter Gottlieb, CEO of True Results

Hello and welcome to the new True Results Blog and our newly redesigned web site devoted to the latest information about permanent weight loss with the Lap Band! I’m Peter Gottlieb, co-founder and CEO of True Results.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to explore our new web site that will provide the latest clinical information, details about our company and some inspirational success stories. We’ve had a great time putting the site together and hope you find it fun and informative. Now, on to the blog.

Our goal is to give you a forum about permanent weight loss with the Lap Band procedure and True Results. A group of experts in the field will offer tips, advice and share personal insights from their interactions with patients, to help you lose the weight and keep it off. Forever.

So, whether you’re just thinking about the Lap Band procedure, you’re about to have the procedure or you’re now maintaining a healthy weight, our team will be here to talk with you. They will answer your questions, be a source of reliable information and tell stories to inspire you. You’ll be hearing from:

  • Melissa Jensen, who lost 90 pounds with the Lap Band. Melissa will share how the procedure changed her life, what the experience was like – and how she can still eat chocolate! Today, Melissa is a Lap Band Advocate at True Results, helping people learn about the procedure, guiding them through insurance qualification and financing and generally being an understanding resource for our patients. You’ll love hearing from her because she interacts with patients who are thinking about the Lap Band and others who are living the Lap Band experience today – and she’s been in your shoes too.
  • Steve Fandre, PA, one of our medical experts. Steve will tell you in easy-to-understand language how the procedure works and what it means for your medical well-being. He’ll bring you answers to questions that his patients ask him every day. As a Director of Clinical Services at True Results for the last five years, Steve has helped prepare hundreds of patients for the outpatient Lap Band procedure by our highly-skilled surgeons.
  • Nives Champion, an expert on staying on track after Lap Band surgery. Nives works side by side with our patients after surgery to help them as they lose the pounds, then maintain a healthy weight. She will be sharing tips on everything from portion sizes and exercise to pregnancy with the Lap Band and when you need an adjustment. Plus, she’ll tell you first-hand stories about True Results patients and their experiences.

Be sure you sign up below to get our blog feed so you can stay updated on our posts. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter too. And, please share your comments, concerns, questions and success stories with us.
