After graduating from the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine, Dr. Duncan completed his residency and training at Georgia Baptist Medical Center. Since, Dr. Duncan has been the first physician in the United States to perform several life changing procedures such as laparoscopic gallbladder removal and inguinal hernia repair and among the first in Georgia to perform laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery for the morbidly obese.
Dr. Duncan is past president of the Atlanta Medical Association and director of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Atlanta Medical Center and Morehouse School of Medicine. He also serves as a health news reporter for Fox Channel 5’s “Good Day Atlanta” show and was featured as one of the most interesting personalities in the 2006 edition of Who’s Who in Atlanta.
