Why do I perform the Lap Band procedure?
“Overweight patients are often ostracized in the community, which is heartbreaking. Many people struggle with mobility and health issues due to being overweight. It was very exciting to discover the Lap Band procedure as a low risk opportunity for weight-loss. After patients have lost weight, they stop in and give me a hug, tell me how happy they are in their lives. I find this as the most rewarding part of my practice.”
