This time, I know I'll finish what I started.

Jamie M.
He has lost 70 lbs.

Jamie knows that, this time, he’s going to finish what he started.

I kind of had a history of started projects but never finishing them — from finishing school to projects around the house. It was the same with losing weight. I tried just about every weight-loss product or program out there, but I never got very far with them. When I first went to the True Results seminar, I felt all of the usual negative thoughts — ”I’m tired”…”I’m hungry”…”I could be home relaxing” — and I turned my car around to leave the parking lot. Then I caught sight of myself in the rear view mirror and thought, “What are you doing? You DESERVE this?” That was the turning point for me. I turned back around and went in to the seminar. This was something I was going to finish.

At first, I was surprised by how quickly the weight came off, which is normal in the first couple of months, from what I understand. Now my weight-loss is more “normal” and steady. I’ve hit some plateaus, but I’ve worked through them. I didn’t quit — that’s a big change for me, and it’s not the only one. I live in downtown Atlanta and there are restaurants and grocery stores and things literally next door to my building and I would get in my car and drive there instead of walking. Now…I’m doing 5Ks. I’ve lost 70 pounds, and I have about 40 to go. 110 pounds…that’s my finish line, and I know I’m going to get there, thanks to True Results.

The whole True Results program and team of people are so great, but I couldn’t have done this without Pam. She’s my Lap Band Advocate, and she’s phenomenal. Pam walked through the entire process and made me feel very comfortable, right off the bat. And when I freaked out the night before my procedure, I emailed Pam. I wanted to cancel, but she called at, like, 9:00 at night and talked me down — told me everything was going to be fine and that I didn’t need to worry. And she was right, of course. I’m fine. I’m doing great, actually! I stop to see her every time I’m at the True Results center. I just have to give her a hug, you know — she truly cared about me and my health and success. That means the world to me.
